Rod Magoon's academic jourey started at Burris Lab School of Ball State
University in Muncie, Indiana, where he graduated as the president of the class of 1954. His commintment to learning
continued as he attended Wabash College and later served as a Private First Class in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Rod completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Indiana University, Bloomington, and earned a Masters
of Science degree in conservation from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Rod's career journey encompassed a range of experiences, spanning from working for
Parker Davis Pharmaceutical Company in Akron, Ohio, to instructing a specialized program at Yale University in New Haven,
Connecticut, under the guidance of Dr. Layman Allen. His journey in education includes roles in Alpena, Michigan, the
Interlochen Arts Academy, and Maharashi School of the Age of Englightment.
Rod's dedication extended beyond the
traditional classroom. He touched lives through homeschooling initiatives and special needs adult education at Indian Hills
Community College.
